Participants came up with mesmerizing projects and future visions on the European Union in 2030. How can we foster a European sense of identity? How can we ensure safety for our citizens and provide them with a good infrastructure? How can we improve our parliamentary system? Shall we aim for “a European Republic”? And what about the economy and social security?
Students presented their projects to an audience of 120 people and four judges: Professor Isabel Schnabel (Spokesperson ECONtribute), Cem Özdemir (Alliance ’90/The Greens), Dr. Thomas Ogilvie (CEO Corporate Incubations at Deutsche Post DHL Group) and Dr. Dirk Aßmann (Director General of GIZ, German Association for International Cooperation).
